Suspected swine flu reaches Colombia

I do not believe that it is yet time to panic but certainly the 12 suspected cases of swine flu in Colombia must be cause for concern. Colombia, after all, is a mere two doors away and it is widely believed that some amount of Colombia’s cocaine passes through Guyana.

Worryingly I have just heard on the BBC World News that the World Health Organization has also confirmed 11 cases of swine flu in New Zealand and 4 cases in Israel so this is certainly shaping up as a global pandemic.

The Minister of Health says we have little to worry about but stay safe people. While once pork is thoroughly cooked it should bring no harm, you may want to consider what and where you eat. It may be the safest thing, as far as possible, to prepare your own food until this whole thing passes.

Don’t get as bad as KN: “While once pork is thoroughly _____ it should bring no harm ___ you may want to consider what and where you eat.”

  2. My concern and the puzzle here is the simultaneous outbreak all over the world. No other flu has acted like this. BB
